Recently, while surfing the web, I came accross this qute by Patrick Henry. While I fear that most American's have no idea who Mr. Henry was, this quote struck me as amazing because it pinpoints the difference between the "AMERICAN EXPERIMENT" and the rest of the world throughout history. On your way to Church this Sunday, you may pass a Mosque or a Buddhist temple or a Starbucks full of American citizens who will not be sitting beside you in Sunday School this morning. They have a choice and it is all because of the sacrifices of great men and women many years ago who decided to follow God's lead and give us a choice as to whether or not to Honor HIM. While it would be wonderful if all Americans followed the advice given in 2 Chronicles 7:14, we thank God that those who call themselves Christians can do so out of a freely made choice rather than from a fear of punishment if they made a choice that the current administration was oppossed to. God Bless America.
Our four inch square hardwood Bible verse plaques are intentionally small so that they can be placed throughout your home in strategic spots (by the phone, front door, bathroom mirror or next to the fridge), as a reminder of God's promised to you each day.
[ WHAT WE DO ]
As a small family based business we oversee every aspect of your order personally. Each order is assembled by hand from quality components to ensure your plaques will last for years to come.
We
start with a four inch square hardwood plaque that is finished
with a paint/stain. (Please note that we only offer one
plaque size 4 inches by 4 inches).
A "keyhole" is cut in the back of the plaque to allow for mounting and a pressed felt backing is added to protect you walls.
The Bible verse of your choice is then printed on an heavy stock paper which is then immersed in a poly acrylic bath to protect it from the elements. After curing thoroughly, the verse is attached to the hardwood plaque with archival quality photography adhesives, lovingly had packed and shipped directly to you.

[ OUR STORY ]
[ MOVING IN ]
The evening after we moved into our first home, I was cleaning out a fireplace which the previous owner had left full of ashes. In the midst of the ashes something shiny caught my eye. It turned out to be foil lettering from a half burned wedding card. It turns out that after seventeen years of marriage the husband left his wife and two kids for another woman, shattering what seems to have been a happy home at one time.
As a young couple with little kids, we started thinking about the future of our own family. We had to ask, "How are we going to protect our family from a similar fate?" We talked about this for a few weeks when my wife came up with the idea of posting God’s Word around our home. After a few revisions we came up with the hardwood inspirational plaques you see now. These Bible plaques have helped our family memorize scripture and they remind us to walk the walk that we profess.
[ FOCUSING ON SPIRITUAL THINGS ]
When we were younger, my wife and I were active in Church activities, we helped the youth, taught a college Sunday school class, we even served overseas in Asia for a summer. Focusing on God and serving Him was"easy", we had the time and the energy. But now, after spending the day with young kids, diapers, laundry and so many other things, we have noticed that we can go from Sunday sermon to Sunday sermon without ever thinking about what God wants from our lives.
Having the Bible verse plaques around the house helps to remind us to take the time to invest in things that really matter, things that matter to God. In the midst of a busy day, a glance at one of the Bible verses can inspire us to put down the dishes and take a moment to play with the kids or talk to them about troubles they may be having with friends.
[ STOMPING AROUND THE HOUSE ]
One particularly bad day when money was running short, I was stomping around the house and grumping about my wife's overspending (my over-spending couldn't have been the problem... right?) when I stomped past the dining room and glanced at the plaque which has Proverbs 15:17 written on it. Almost immediately I stopped stomping and went back and apologized to my wife.
God used the Bible plaques to keep me from hurting our relationship over something trivial. There have been times when I have seen the plaques and went right on stomping, but when I do so, I stomp in defiance, knowing that my attitude is wrong and it's hard to stomp when you know you're wrong.
[ CREATIVE IDEA ]
Let your walls witness to your friends. - We have found that when you put the Bible verses on every doorpost and entry way in the home, that guests tend to search your house to read them all. While this means that you have to keep your back rooms presentable, it is also a great conversation starter and a way to witness to your friends. If you have difficulty bringing up the subject of knowing Jesus personally, why not let your walls do the talking for you.
